Happy October! I love fall, Halloween, and, the holiest of all days in my calendar, my birthday. We’re less than 8 hours in and I’ve already made a pumpkin spice cake. The month is off to a good start!
I’m also working on my favorite kind of project–baby blankets. I have an order for two custom crochet blankets that I’m currently in the planning stages of. Looking up stitches, pondering color combinations and choices, and just generally having a great time thinking about yarn.

My favorite month too! I love experimenting with new scarf and shawl crochet patterns for the fall. This year I’m also excited to crochet a Halloween costume 🙂

Jack-o-lantern! It will consist mainly of an open-work orange top to drape over black, with a lantern hanging from my neck to shine the light through. I hope it comes together well!
